conditioned for the payment of the said sum of fifteen hundred Dollars on the first day of January One Thousand eight hundred and twenty three and a mortgage upon the property so as aforesaid conveyed to secure to the said James Wallace the payment of the said last mentioned sum of Fifteen hundred Dollars on the said first day of January in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and Twenty three hereby ratifying and affirming every act or thing which the said Barrington King may or shall do in or about the business.
          In Witness whereof i have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of January in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and Twenty two.

Hand who being duly sworn saith that he was a subscribing witness to the within power of Attorney and that he saw the within named Roswell King Junr. sign and acknowledge the same on the day and year in the within Power of attorney mentioned.  Wherefore I allow it to be recorded.

John Hornsby of the County of Glynn of the first part And George Street Merchant of the County of McIntosh both of the State aforesaid of the second part.
          Witnesseth that the said John Hornsby for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred Dollars to him in hand paid by the said George Street at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and thereof and of [sic] from every part and Parcel thereof unto him the said George Street do hereby acquire, release, and discharge the said George Street his heirs executors and administrators by these presents I the said John Hornsby hath hereby granted, bargained sold aliened[?] remised, released and confirmed, and by these Presents do grant bargain sell alien remise & confirm unto the said George Street and to his heirs and assigns.  All that Lot or Tract of land situate lying and being in the County of Glynn Containing four hundred (400) acres, bound Westwardly by Vacant Lands and Middleton's lands, Westwardly by John Hornsby land S Eastwardly by George Street lands N Eastwardly by Graves land as will more fully appear by grant dated the Twenty ninth November (1819) Eighteen hundred and nineteen and Registered in Book M 5 page 732.  Together with all and singular the houses out houses, edifices buildings, stables yards, gardens, liberties, privileges, easements, commodities, Emoluments, Hereditaments, rights, members, and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the revision and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents issues and Profits, and all the Estate right title, interest property or possessions, claim and demand whatsoever in Law or Equity, of him the said John Hornsby of in or to the same or any part or parcel thereof with[?] the appurtenances.  To have and to hold, the said Tract of Land with all said singular[?] [illegible] the premises, hereby granted sold aliened and confirmed with the hereditaments and appurtenances unto the said George Street his heirs and assigns, to the only use and behoof of the said George Street his Heirs and assigns forever.  And to and for no other use interest

McIntosh County }  This Indenture made the Twenty seventh day of March in the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand eight hundred and Twenty two.  Between Frederick and Elizabeth Yeamans of the aforesaid County and State aforesaid of the one part.  And George Street Merchant of the said County and State of the other part.  Wintesseth that the said Frederick and Elizabeth Yeamans for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred Dollars ($200) to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged.  Hat Granted, bargained sold and conveyed, and do by these Presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Geo. Street his heirs and assigns all that Tract or lot of land situate lying and being in the County of Glynn and state aforesaid beginning at a Pine and bounded N.W. by James Massy[?] & William Huston's land, S.E. & S.W. by W. Huston's & unknown land, N.E. by vacant land, and N.W. by vacant and George Street's land, containing four hundred and Eighteen acres, more or less, as per grant dated 29 November 1819 and Registered in Book M5.  To have and to hold said Tract of Parcel of Land unto him the said George Street his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights, members, and appurtenances thereof to he [sic] same in any manner belonging to him and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple, and the said Frederick and Elizabeth Yeamans, [2 illegible words] for themselves, their land[?], [illegible] executors, and administrators, the said bargained premises, unto the said George Street his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and [illegible] the claims of all other persons whatsoever.
          In witness whereof the said Frederick and Elizabeth Yeamans have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written.

Glynn County       }    Know all men by these presents, that I, John William McLeod for and in consideration of the sum of Two Thousand five hundred dollars to me in hand paid by James Moore at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have bargained and sold, and by these presents do bargain and sell and deliver to the said James Moore nine certain negroe slaves named, Samson, Simon, March, Darcus & Charlotte her child, Abraham, Patty & Barbara and Harriet her two children, with the future issue and increase of the females if any.  To have and to hold the said negroes above mentioned with the future issue and increase if any, unto the said James Moore his executors administrators, and assigns, to him and his only proper use and behoof forever.  And I the said John William McLeod, do bargain sell and convey unto the said James Moore the aforesaid abovementioned negro slaves (with the future issue of the females if any) to his heirs executors, administrators and assigns, the said bargained premises from and against all persons, shall & will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
            In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal dated at Brunswick this first day of May in the year of our lord One thousand eight hundred and Twenty four.

Glynn County      }     Know all men by these presents that I James Moore of the County and State aforesaid Planter in Consideration of the love and affection which I have and do bear towards Eliza L. McLeod wife of John William McLeod of the County and State aforesaid have given granted and confirmed, and by these presents do give grant & confirm unto the said Eliza L. McLeod aforesaid the following negro slaves viz. Samson, Simon, March (a mulatto) Darcus and her child Charlotte, Abraham, Patty and her children Barbara and Harriet, with the future issue and increase of the females if any, which said negroes abovenamed I do warrant and defend, unto the said Eliza L. McLeod to her heirs and assigns against myself my heirs, and against every other person or persons whomsoever claiming the same, and I do hereby nominate and appoint John Burnett Jr. and William Moore both of said County and State Planters, as Trustees to the same.
            In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Seventh day of May in the year of Our Lord, One thousand Eight hundred and twenty four.
