The Tombstone Transcription Project    A project of the USGenWeb, transcriptions and information on how to survey cemeteries. Tombstone Symbols    Located at About.com, information on what tombstone symbols and iconography mean.
The Association for Gravestone Studies Online    The Association for Gravestone Studies (AGS) was founded in 1977 for the purpose of furthering the study and preservation of gravestones. AGS is an international organization with an interest in gravemarkers of all periods and styles. Find A Grave    Ever wanted to know where Annie Oakley is buried?  Or how about "Old Rip" the toad that was that was put inside the cornerstone of the Eastland Courthouse in Texas?  Well at this site you can find your answers to these and many more "where are they buried" questions.
