Yahoo! GeoCities
FREE, however you only get 15 MB of
storage and pray that your site doesn't get popular, as you are only allowed
a certain amount of access per month. But they have raised this to 3GB,
which is a lot more than it used to be. There are other fee based plans to
choose from too! |
Tripod
FREE and fee based plans to choose from. This is one of those sites though
that will give you massive adds, spam, pop-ups, and spyware, so I wouldn't
recommend this company for genealogy type sites, as you will be infecting
your visitors with junk. |
|
Angelfire
FREE and fee based plans, same company as Tripod, same features, same
pop-ups, ads, etc. Be aware. |
AOL Hometown

much, but just enough for your genealogy! |
Check with your ISP [i.e. Bellsouth, Darientel, AOL, etc.] they may have free web
space for you with your account. Although limited, may be just enough for a
family page to let others know how the family is doing! |
