Contained within these pages are names of over 52,100 people, the years they were born and died, where they were buried, and what county.  Some of these cemeteries are online, some are not.  Many of these listings came from the personal records of Ruth Vicent and Sarah Cassidy.  Records they compiled while researching and writing the Palmetto Cemetery book.  They are from funeral home records, death records, and personal family information. 

This index covers not only Glynn County, but Brantley, Wayne, Camden, McIntosh, and others.  It is still growing too.  The purpose of this index is to be used as a guide to help researchers locate where their ancestors were buried.  Many internet genealogists can not find online information for various reasons, one they don't know where to look, two, it isn't there.

Due to the enormity of the index, it is separated into individual letters per surname, and for now is a work in progress!  Plus there ARE mistakes, do not take this as factual and final.
