Glynn County, Georgia
Welcome to the CGGS information page!
The Coastal Georgia Genealogical Society is dedicated to promoting and encouraging an active interest in the science of genealogy and biographical history. We are a small group of folks who enjoy researching genealogy and historical aspects of Coastal Georgia, and around the world.
You need not have ancestors from Glynn County to join, just an interest in genealogy, and a thirst for knowledge.
Our programs are geared at teaching and informing others about new research, internet searching, software programs, hardware [i.e. computers, cameras, scanners, etc.] and much more. We also share our stories about how our research is coming about.
Dues are $15
for a single person or $18 for a
family. A newsletter is sent out monthly via email, and our due
paying members may receive a printed newsletter. You do not have to
join in order to receive our email newsletter, just sign up!
Scroll to the bottom of the page where it says Group Email Addresses, pick the "subscribe" address, put "subscribe" in the subject line, and send.
We also do lookups for Glynn County!
Once you are a member, we request that you post a message of introduction, and let us know what you are working on and areas that you need help in.
