Slave Inventory of William Crawford 28 December 1809 Glynn Co. Georgia

William Crawford
28 December 1809

Inventories & Appraisements Vol. D pgs. 5 & 6
[Glynn County Probate Court]

According to William Crawford's will, his siblings were to inherit each, 1/3 of his estate, real and personal. Dr. John Crawford, Barbara Crawford of Scotland, and Betty Crawford "who may have married W. Nichol"

Some of the enslaved were bracketed together, suggesting a husband & wife, or family unit. I placed a bracket behind each person's name that was bracketed, and placed underlines to separate them. The lines do NOT suggest family units, only the bracketed names.

Half of these enslaved people were owned by Dr. John Crawford and the other by William Crawford
